Job Description :

The incumbent will be responsible for –
1. Overall Responsibility of achieving & Improving Business/Sales Target assigned for the Unit
2. Develop market strategy in line with the business requirements and ensure implementation of the same
3. To add new shipping lines, CHAs, Importers & Exporters in client base
4. To maintain database of customers and undertake cold calling to induce growth
5. Keep track of competition and take necessary action to counter competition
6. Compliance on all MIS reports and statutory requirements
7. Monitor the performance of our service delivery in the market and give regular feedback to operation team on the same
8. Ensuring 100% compliance of Credit policy of SBU
9. Coordinate with Operation team for delivering the seamless service wherever/whenever required
10. Maintaining the statistical data for Port, CFS volume in the region
11. Retain and improve market share by increasing the volume from existing customers and adding the volume from new customers
12. Increasing the client base in or der to have sustained growth of business
13. Ensuring the all complaints from customers were resolved within stipulated time
14. Maintaining close relationship with shipping lines, CHA, Importers & Exporters
15. Ensure to meet the required contribution of the unit as per Budget
16. Regularly organize customers meet for brand promotion
17. Regularly meeting customers and send the sales call rep ort to higher authorities
18. Monitoring the movement of import containers from port to CFS in order to ensure the customer are satisfied on timely movement
19. Development & Motivation of sales team members
20. Ensure to achieve MOU targets related to marketing and sales
21. Any other job assigned time to time

21. Out Station Candidates called for Interview for the post of Manager [Sales]-LI (E3) shall be entitled for to & fro travel reimbursement limited to AC 2 tier rail fare or equivalent from the
mailing address mentioned in the on-line application form to the venue of interview by the shortest route as per rules. Candidates providing mailing address of a country other than India,
in the application form, will be reimbursed to and fro rail fare, as per entitlement mentioned above, from the port of arrival in India to the venue of interview by the shortest route as per
rules. The candidate will be required to fill in the Travelling Allowance (TA) form at the Interview centre and submit proof for travel undertaken.
22. The number of vacancies is indicative. The Company reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies purely on need basis at any point of time during recruitment

24. Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed travel expenses as per the rules of the Company.

 Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for Other Backward Classes (OBC) – non creamy layer (NCL) candidates.

 Reservation & Relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as per Govt. rules.
 The Upper age limit for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates is relaxable by 10 years (15 years for SCs/ STs & 13 years for OBCs). Persons
belonging to following categories are eligible apply:
a) Blindness and low division
b) Deaf and hard of hearing
c) Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy

received in any other format shall not be considered for availing reservation benefits.
 Reservation of posts for SC, ST and OBC (non creamy layer) will be as per presidential directives.
 Upper age limit is relaxable for Ex-Servicemen as per extant applicable rules issued by the Competent Authority.
 The candidate’s appointment shall remain provisional till such time as the Caste/ Tribe/ Class (NCL) certificates and other testimonials are verified and certified by
appropriate authority as genuine. The candidate’s services shall be liable to be terminated forthwith without assigning any reason in case the above verification
